Description

Details

Made to allow your heavyweight adventure bike (150kg+) to perform on tarmac'd and unsurfaced roads this super long lasting tyre is 25% stronger than many other similar styles of tyres (reducing punctures) and is specifically designed for use on wet/dry tarmac, gravel trails and unsurfaced roads.

It is ideal for the motorcycle traveller/RTW rider.

The Tractionator® GPS has two performance options depending upon fitment orientation. One more road orientated where the GPS is a well behaved street able tyre with smooth cornering transition from centre to cranked-all-the-way-over, the second a more off-road ready configuration where the aggressive straight line hook up and cornering drive is engaged. Check the product detail chart below for guidance on which mode will best suit your ride.

The Tractionator® GPS is all about dependable traction in a wide variety of conditions.

Who Are Motoz?

Motoz isn't just another tyre company. Its designers, owners and test riders are the same people. Having been involved in the motorcycle tyre industry for 20 years these guys thought that the tyres they were buying/riding were uninspiring at best and more importantly they thought it was possible to do better. Turns out they were right!

Motoz only use the best available materials to achieve high standards that give Motoz tyres exceptionally long wear life and durability and the process is ISO9001:2008 certified(BVQI) and audited by TUV Rhienland.

Although the company is Australian the tyres are made in the internationally regonised tyre making centre of the universe, Thailand (who knew?!). The Motoz factory is 40 years old, privately owned and doesn't make tyres for anyone else. Motoz has been around for 10 years now and it owns all its own moulds, technology, patents and trademarks. i.e. These guys are serious about what they are doing. And that shows in some of the best tyres we've ever seen or ridden.

Confidence Inspiring 50/50 Tire for Big ADV Bike Review by robogrip
Confidence Inspiring 50/50 Tire for Big ADV Bike" by , written on 11 August 2018
Bought these for a trip from Switzerland to Iceland and back on a 2015 BMW R1200 GSA. My shop put them on in the 50/50 configuration since I was going to spend a lot of time on paved roads. I do not have anything I can compare them to, so some of my observations may be "no brainers" to those with more experience.

First impressions:
* Squirrelly ride
* Weird howl/whine at 60 km/h
* Much more vibration through hands, butt, etc.
* Look badass on bike

After Riding To Denmark
* After 1400 km...tires feel pretty good. Comfortable.
* Ride fine at high speeds (150 km/h)..still „rough“ at slow speeds
* Unfortunately, due to highway riding, wearing more in the middle than the sides (to be expected though)
* No longer feel „squirrelly“
* Had some rain for about 30 minutes...did not notice anything with regard to the tires...seemed fine...but was still on highway, riding straight

After riding in/around Iceland
* Confidence inspiring
* Feel great on all kinds of gravel including wet gravel and light mud
* Worked very well in rain on wet pavement (unless accelerate too aggressively)
* Whine between 60-70 still there, but used to it and now acts as additional audio cue

Riding back to Switzerland
* Rode 1396 km in one day - felt the vibration numbness in my hands and feet the next day

In the end, I put almost 5400 Km on these in the space of 3 1/2 weeks. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Great 50/50 choice for big adv Review by Kamil

Confirm the great handling of-road, but definitely I was surprised (positive way) with reaction on road, good grip on corners, nice on wet tarmac.
