Thick stuff Review by GB
Thick stuff" by , written on 11 September 2016
Really thick stuff this, got it for my 701 to use with a coyote, when I first put it on it looked awful with bubbles and lines in it but then it pulled tight the bodywork over the next few days and now you can hardly see it.

Good protection. Review by Pete
Good protection." by , written on 3 May 2015
I bought this film to protect the paint on my KTM when using a Great Basin 2 saddlebag.

I use paint protection film on all my bikes and have had a fair bit of experience applying the film.

The Giant Loop film is very heavy duty (1.2mm) and is stiff when cold. The adhesive is very sticky indeed. The film comes as a rectangular sheet.

The film went on ok, I found I had to cut more relief notches to compensate for curvature in the panels than with a thinner film. Lots of soap solution is the secret, and lots of patience. I roughed out the shape with scissors and trimmed the edges with a scalpel once in place.

As with all paint protection films it took a while to dry out, it initially appeared grey & misty with some bubbles. This dried out over 3 days, I removed excess adhesive with sticky label remover and polished the film with car body wax. It's invisible unless you're close to the bike.

The film does a good job of protecting the paintwork from the saddlebag. It takes patience to fit, but is forgiving to work with.
