Description

Details

Simple bar mounted support mechanism allowing GPS, roadbook or mapboard to be mounted directly to the instrument cross bar of your Yamaha Tenere 700 / T7 / T700.

Probably Dave’s favourite piece of AS equipment during his recent 6000km test trip to Africa.

There is a reason Rally Riders have Nav Towers. Not only do they need somewhere to mount a large assortment of electronic trickery...but, they need it mounted as high as possible.

The very last thing you want to be doing whilst travelling fast over open terrain (or at any speed over tricky terrain) is taking your eyes off the track. Mounting your navigation aid as high as possible allows for a simple flicking of the eyes downwards to check your route whilst keeping your peripheral vision on the road/trail ahead.

The lower you mount your Nav aid the more likely you are to have to hunt for the information you want for longer, taking your attention away from the road. And this is bad!

This super simple high mount allows a quick rotation (if clamped lightly) from the perfect viewing position when seated to the ultimate view point when standing. Or chose a permanent compromise location in between by clamping tightly.

Comes with universal mounting hole configuration allowing mounting of RAM parts/Garmin GPS mounts etc.

    • Could you give the dimensions of the four mounting holes (i.e how far apart they are) for the cradle. I have a Garmin Zumo 395lm and am having problems finding a gps holder that will hold the cradle.
    • Andy,

Currently we have batch un-drilled, so you can choose your mounting point distances!

      Hope that helps.

    • What diameter bar will this fit please? I have a Ducati multistrada enduro with Givi bar fitted behind the screen. I have phone on the left and want to mount GPS centre/right.
    • Its a 12mm bar on the Tenere, so thats the diameter it is!

    • Does this mount also work in "attack mode" ie with the Montana mounted in Portrait instead of Landscape as the bolt pattern is different.
      Thanks
    • Michael,

      Yes it does.
