Description

What is it?

The Core Long Sleeve is a non-armoured base layer that is designed for use in both hot and cold environments. Its construction helps regulate body temperature as well as staying firmly tucked in during strenuous trail riding.



How does it work?

Designed to be worn next to the skin, the Core Long Sleeve makes use of a more open stitch in areas where greater ventilation and sweat wicking are required, and a more closed stitch where heat retention is more important. Silver ion yarn discourages odour and keeps the base layer feeling fresher for longer. The tail of the top is purposefully over length and is designed to stay tucked into your trousers and not ride up your back while riding.

Who is it for?

The Core Long Sleeve is a solid foundation for anyone riding ADV Spec gear who prefers not to wear body armour in their base layer. It may be more suited to colder environments due to the long sleeves.

    • What is it made of? Synthetic or wool?
    • Synthetic Cordura Nylon 6-6 Yarm with a Silver Ion thread inside to help reduce odours.

This base layer is superb. The fit is brilliant with really generous length meaning it won't part company with your trousers. The fabric is warm and comfortable. Whilst it looks similar, it has little in common with its outdoor pursuits cousins and as soon as you pick it up you know the Core is made for motorcycling. It is a lot more robust and manages your temperature brilliantly whilst riding. Love it!
