Probably the best investment you can make on an overland/adventure/offroad bike is properly set up wheels. They will give you endless hours of trouble free riding and avoid the dreaded 'Puncture of Doom', as the light is failing or the rain and wind batter you into submission.

Despite being significantly cheaper than more popular models of Ultra Heavy Duty inner tubes we have ridden Kyoto rubber for many miles now and have noticed very little difference.

Ultra Heavy Duty tubes are traditionally 4mm thick and if used with properly built wheels and an automatic puncture prevention fluid like, 'Slime' , they will give the best tubed chance of a puncture free life!
