Of course, this DOES NOT REPLACE the original Giant Loop Saddlebag, which is still the best choice for hard-core off-road expeditions on a true dirt bike or dualsport. But the Great Basin brings that same tough, tailored performance to bigger machines. We put the bag where the passenger goes. Tell your buddy to get her own bike – that seat’s taken!

This system will stay with you from bike to bike without needing to invest in expensive metalwork racks ON EACH BIKE. Get used to your Great Basin, grow with it and develop a perfectly packed and functional kit list. Keep it packed with your kit, ready to go at a moments notice. Over time the pack will become instinctive, "tool kit and spares in right pod, food kit in left pod, fuel bottle in left bottle holder, brew flask in the right, sleeping bag in left stuff sack, underwear in right, washkit and day clothes in the topbox, shoes stuffed in 'the lid', tent and mat strapped to the back with pot attached as well."
