So, whats all this riding around the world about then?!

In recent years we've seen the latest incarnations of world motorbike travellers on TV and on the Internet. Before that we read about the amazing trailblazing voyages of people like Paul Pratt and Ted Simon on their voyages of geographical and personal discovery around the world.

For many bikers the question remains, is there really anything left to discover out there? For many others the only question is, how long is it until I can get out there and FIND OUT!

We hope we are here to persuade the first group that motorcycle travelling is about far more than geographical movement, and the second group to make sure that they have the right kit before they leave next week with the wrong visas and an expiring passport (Yep, been there done that!).

Here at Adventure-Spec our own motorbiking journeys have changed us in many ways, usually in unlooked for places and situations that allowed our humility to move us to unlikely deeds, or our strengths to shine when we thought we had none

Regardless of the methods we can categorically tell you that travelling by motorcycle will alternately, inspire, exhaust, and amaze you. You WILL be a different person when you return. Generally the longer the journey the more profound the change, hence the reason for people setting themselves the kind of personal challenges that Chris met when he decided it was time for a life change. One £7000 loan and three months later Chris set off east for China and a MONSTER adventure. For those who want specific details you'll find them on his personal website moto-hike.blogspot.com</

For the purpose of this introduction all you really need to know is that as a result of his journey Chris set up Adventure-Spec and now lives his dreams every day. Couldn't you do with a bit of motivation and inspiration?

If so then read on, and find out why the Adventure-Spec philosophy is so clear and unbending and why here at Adventure-Spec we know what were talking about when it comes to Adventure because we've lived it too!
