Quick Overview

High tec fluid inserted into inner tubes which balance your wheels and provides instant puncture repiar for holes upto 6mm. Only recommended for use in tubed tyres. One litre treats two wheels.

Slime 1 Litre Description

Probably the best investment you can make on an overland/adventure/offroad bike is properly set up wheels. They will give you endless hours of trouble free riding and avoid the dreaded 'Puncture of Doom', as the light is failing or the rain and wind batter you into submission.

Slime is a superb addition to any good tubed wheel setup, particularly when used with Ultra Heavy Duty Tubes. It is a super technical polymer that is inserted into your tube by first letting the tyre down then removing the valve core (tools provided) and squeezing it in. Once the Slime has been inserted the valve core is replaced and the tyre re-inflated. Slime does not affect the wheel balance and will continue to repair tears or holes in the inner tube  upto 1/4" or 6mm for the life of the tyre (upto 2 years).

We have used Slime in our tubed tyres for over five years and to date have ridden over 50000km puncture free! When tyres are finally removed there is usually clear evidence of numerous thorn punctures and/or 'snake bites' being fixed by the 'magic polymer'.

To find out exactly how much slime is required per wheel check out this link. As a rough guide you should need approximately 350ml for a 21 inch front wheel and around 450ml for a 17" rear wheel.

    • Hi, Very intersted in this product but wondering is it ok to use on road as well as off road? read somewhere that it is not suitable at speeds over 65mph? considering using it with continental tkc's on bmw f800gs? Thanks
    • Although the manufacturer recommends against it, we know Slime has been used extensively in big trail bikes on the road at 'sensible' highway speeds without issue. If you would attract the Police with your speed then its probably too much anyway...
