Oberon Clutch Slave Cylinder KTM LC8 950 990 Adventure SE Description
All bikes have their achilles heal and on the KTM LC8 motor the clutch slave cylinder is the weak point (along with the water pump, but one thing at a time!). oberon Engineering have created a cure for this problem!
KTM clutch slave cylinder by Oberon Performance. Designed to improve the efficiency and performance of the original clutch slave cylinder for LC8 engines. The enhanced 27mm piston reduces the heaviness of the original clutch action and brings much relief to aching arms. This unit cures the problem of jamming pistons and subsequent failure. The internal piston design, seals and breather hole have been drastically enhanced to prevent leaks and leave a smoother clutch action. CNC machined from T6 billet alloy for lightness, strength and eye-catching looks. Everything you need is included in the kit including full instructions and is ready to fit.
We also supply a billet aluminium mounting plate that replaces the OEM plastic version. The Billet aluminium version produced by Oberon Performance will improve the mounting of either the original Slave Cylinder or the Oberon replacement KTM Clutch Slave Cylinder, also due to the natural heat dissipation of this alloy a cooler running condition will allow better operation and more reliable performance from the clutch action.
Retain the spacers from your plastic backing plate and insert them into the billet item to complete the assembly.

Oberon Performance's slave cylinder comes with a 12 month return to base warranty as standard - including parts and labour. Units older than 12 months from date of purchase can still be returned for a free repair/replacement, provided the unit has not suffered signs of extensive external damage or if the unit does display signs of tampering and/or attempts of disassembly. In the unlikely event a unit is to be returned for replacement/repair then please ensure contact with a member of Oberon Performance has been achieved prior to shipping, so details can be logged correctly. Failure to obtain a returns number could invalidate this warranty. Additionally ensure the item(s) has been packaged adequately to ensure no further damage can be incurred and shipping costs from the customer to Oberon Performance will be met by the customer. Oberon Performance will bear the shipping cost from Oberon Performance to the customer. Oberon Performance reserves the right to reject any warranty should the returned item clearly display evidence of damage, other than natural wear and tear. Statutory rights are not affected.
