Good tool - needs a bigger handle! Review by SteveInBed
Good tool - needs a bigger handle!" by , written on 8 May 2017
First time using a chain tool so the complete process of removing the old chain and fitting the new one took about an hour. I ground the rivet down with a dremel then used the chain tool to push the rivet out. This was very easy to do. I fitted a DID chain and pushing on the side plate was fairly easy (I was very cautious as I didn't want to press the plate down too far and make the link stiff - just pressed it in til level with plates on the neighbouring links). Flaring the pins was more difficult as the handle on the tool was too small. Eventually I got another metal tube and fitted that over the handle to give me more leverage. Was much easier then. Trouble was I didn't know how much to flare the rivet. The DID chain box said 5.5 - 5.8 but the rivet was already 5.5! Went with 5.7 and all seems OK after about 3 weeks of riding. Good tool - needs a bigger handle!

A solid piece of kit!! Review by Ollyreid
A solid piece of kit!!" by , written on 11 November 2014
This is the first time I have used a chain breaker / all purpose tool as I normally ride shafties. I was impressed!! I have other Motion Pro tools and this is every bit as good as the other tools I own by them. It is solid, well built and easy to use. It is also compact enough to carry with you should you need to. The case keeps it all clean and in one place too. In a nutshell - another great piece of kit from this manafacturer of excellent motorbike tools!!
