Cycra M2 Recoil Vented Handguards

Not everyone wants full wrap-around aluminium handshields and indeed for light enduro bikes they have numerous advantages. Sometimes you just need something to deflect branches and roost, plus you cant get your hands trapped in the guards causing potential injury unlike wraparounds (dont ask us how we know this!)

After trying several different brands here at Adventure-Spec we found they all had the same problem. They all broke off easily!

Well, after a whole year of use pretty much weekly and more offs than can be counted the Cycra M2 Recoil handguard has proved itself to absolutely not have that problem!

"The term "Recoil" comes from the spring-loaded action of the guard itself. Upon impact, the guard is allowed to pivot away from your grips. Once you're done wadding yourself up, the guard's integrated spring snaps the shield back in place. The result is less breakage and a longer lifespan. It's usually the simple tip-over that snaps levers and breaks shields; these are immune to that, and I've personally drilled them into the ground at high velocity and they've always bounced back.
