VisionX Solstice Solo Description
Choose between the all new Solo s1100, 10 ° beam or the Solo s1103 with a 45 °/15 ° elliptical beam. The 10 ° beam pattern is a little deceptive as there is a smooth transition of light off the spot, they make great 'full beams' or helmet lights. The 45 °/15 ° elliptical beam pattern makes a great low 'fog' light with great depth while still illuminating the side of the track strongly.
Equipped with Vision’s brand new 10 watt LED technology, with each 10 watt Solo producing 900 lumens (!) making them the brightest LED off road lamp on the market in only a 2” x 2” square housing. Not only are they the brightest, they are the most efficient with the s1100 drawing only 0.75 amps due to their advanced electronic drivers which are also responsible for their 50,000 hour life span and variable 9 - 50 Volt DC input. The Solstice Solo’s main feature is the 4 sided channel design that allows you to interlink it on all four sides with another Solstice Solo pod or other various available mounting hardware for flat, tube or even helmet mount making it the only modular light with the ability to make any shape or length with the available spot and eliptical flood beam patterns mixed throughout your custom configuration.
No power on your ride, no worries; a line of rechargeable battery packs (3.5 hour or 6.5 hour) for any configuration of your Solstice Solo light pods are available.
Trail bikes benefit enormously from just a single light to give a major boost as you ride into the evening on those winter trail rides.
Big trailies can have spots patched into the high beam and wide beams into the low for automatic switching with your standard headlight. Alternatively a plug n play two light harness and switch is available!
The solo pod comes complete with a simple two wire connector and a one bolt pan and tilt adjustable mount. The connectors to array multiple units are also included. Fitting is fast and simple, just connect to any DC source.

- would these be a better alternative to an HID conversion on my KTM 690 Enduro?
- yes, these would work far better for a number reasons.
The 690's headlight unit does not have a particularly efficient reflector, therefore even the bright light produced by the HID bulb is not projected particularly well down the road, giving 'spotty' coverage.
The Vision X Solstice Solo produces a very even spread of light that picks out the details in your surroundings, meaning much less strain on the eyes.
Also, we feel that an auxiliary light is much safer than a high powered single light as in case of failure you are not plunged into darkness (while careering through an unlit tunnel at 60mph, dont ask us how we know this!)

- There are a few options depending on what you want to do.
Many people who want 'road-presence' lighting for the day, or driving lights for the night wired to a seperate switch, a pair of spots and a switch wired from the battery are a good option
Another good setup is to splice a 'wide' light into the wiring for your tail light and a 'spot' into your main beam. If you do this, the wide beam will be on whenever your low beam is, them when you flick onto high beam, the wide will stay on the the spot will come on as well! This is great for actual night riding when you will have to keep turning off a pair of spots so you dont blind on-coming traffic

These lights totally rock! Cant believe I have made do with regular headlamps on my dirt bike all these years! Even the halogen bulbs dont come close. Quality lights, light weight, small, robust and easy to install. Where's the catch?!!! Instantly became not only useful but massively increased safety coming home from work late 'the country route' and avoiding stretches of ice I wouldnt have seen before. Adventure Spec does it again. Fitted a pair of these to my Tenere today and tried them out on some dark Northern Irish country roads this evening. Absolutely excellent and a superb safety enhancement during daylight hours. Don't waste your time with high watt bulbs or even HiD (I did and it wasn't worth the time or financial outlay).
These units are well made, tough,and very very bright. Easy to wire in, easy to mount.
