After what seems like an eternity Yamaha have released its new 1200cc Super Tenere. Squarely aimed at knocking the BMW R1200GS off its perch at the top of the sales charts its a monster of a bike and a technological tour de force. With more gadgets and electronic devices than an F1 car it looks like it will make a great tourer and do-it-all bike, probably tempting a great number of R1 riders who would never be seen dead on a BMW onto a big trailie. We cant wait to see one on the road, but doubt we'll see many on the trail. At 261kg fuelled this is one seriously big bike that could become a real handful in off-tarmac going very quickly.
