The beady eyed team at Adventure-Spec have spotted at least two of the top teams have been using a secret weapon - the Vision X Solstice Solo!

We've known for a longtime that these super low wattage but high output beauties are the most reliable and rugged lights available. Now the top teams obviously agree

The Yamaha France Yamaha Yz450F Rally's (David Casteu and Olivier Pain)  and the Husqvarna TE449RR 's (Paulo Goncalves and stage 10 winner Joan Barreda Bart) are both clearly running the lights, other teams include Honda Racing Argentina who scored a third on the opening stage with Javier Pizzolito (no27 in video below). In a rally situation simple and effective is the key and exactly why we've been turning customers on to these units for the last couple of years.

Rally bikes had for a long time used HID lighting systems, but unreliable ballasts and bulky complicated wiring place too much added draw on the fragile but critical electrical system. The simple two wire install with no external ballasts or connectors, 10watt/0.8 amp power requirement, 50,000 hour lamp life and extremely rugged cases of the Vision X Solstice Solos have finally kicked the HID's into touch

Vive la Revolution!
