Adventure Spec are very pleased indeed to announce the addition of another fully sponsored rider to their team.
In addition to Walter Colebatch (one of the worlds most prolific and extreme adventure riders www.siberskyextreme.com), Craig Bounds (the UK Rally champion and regular Dakar contender), and Lyndon Poskitt (Adventure rider and racer extrordinaire...700 miles of the The Baja 1000 race on a 950 Super Enduro anyone?!!!) we can now announce that one of the worlds finest Extreme Enduro and Trials riders Graham Jarvis (Grimbo) will be joining us.
Graham has an impressive trials background including an improbable 9 (yep, thats NINE!) Scott Trials wins, 5 Scottish 6 Day Trials wins, 5 British Championships and a World Trials Ranking of 4th during the 1998-2001 seasons (helped by five outright world round wins).
In recent years Graham has swapped his focus from Trials riding to Extreme Enduro (both indoor and outdoor) and has produced some great results with a Red Bull Romaniacs win in 2008 and 2nd places at Erzberg and Hells Gate in 2009/2010.
Focussed as ever Graham started the 2011 season with a new team (Team Extreme Flight) a new bike (Husaberg) and a new kit sponsor (Adventure Spec). Training all winter he burst onto the Extreme Enduro scene this weekend at the Fast Eddie Extreme Enduro British Championship where he took second place in race 2 only a few seconds behind David Knight after lapping the entire field of riders (with the exception of Dougie Lampkin who was over a minute behind).
Graham is a true focussed professional who is bringing new insights to the famous Adventure-Spec testing program. If it survives 'Grimbo' it is most certainly going to be Adventure-Spec. We think he's going to fit in rather well (Just don't ask us to go out riding with him...!).
