These 2mm annodised guards protect your bikes vulnerable magnesium side cases.
Dropping the bike onto rocks can lead to punctured/shattered cases and a massive bill, never mind the issues of being stuck far from home with oil running down your boots!!!
Simply stick the guards on with high temperature silicon available from most good hardware shops/stores. These guards can be removed as any time and are removed when selling the bike to show off your shiny new looking engine cases.
Available in black or silver annodized to compliment our bashplate.

You will need some tape to secure them on your case while the silicone dries. I let them dry overnight and then peeled the tape off the next day to go riding. That was 3 weeks ago and they're still on. I ordered both sides and neither of them have taken any dents yet so I still don't know how much punishment they will take. Of note, the right side case cover does take up some of the gap between your brake lever and the case but not so much that it decreases the functionality of your brake lever. Their appearance seamlessly melds into the engine unlike carbon which screams "look at me, look at me!" (Posted on 22/04/2012)Overall rating
