Guard-it Technology Bashplate KTM LC8 Adventure 950/990

KTM's 950 and 990 LC8 Adventure represent the highest evolution of the 'Big Trail-bike' or 'Dual Sport' machine.

Our Guard-iT-Technology sump guard offers superb protection for true hardcore off-road adventure.

With a 5mm aircraft grade aluminium centre section mounted to tough steel mounts the guard really performs. Side panels of 4mm aluminium keep weight down while providing plenty of protection from  flying rocks and tip overs.

We incorporated an area in the front of the guard to take a tool-pouch with enough room to keep the heavy stuff, like chain breakers, levers and big sockets. The space takes a Kriega tool-roll perfectly or whatever else you can slot in. There are slots in the box panel to allow the fitment of a webbing strap to keep everything in place (not included, be creative!). We tested the clearance with a Desert tyre on maximum compression and fork flex so theres plenty of clearance!

The front mount features a permamently fitted machined spacer plate to give a perfect fit with the curved casting to the front of the LC8's engine. The rear mounting plate hinges on the frame allowing access to your tools by the removal of only two button head 5mm allen bolt to the front of the bashplate . All fastenings are stainless and all fittings are powdercoated to match the colour of your guard
