Questions on Klim Badlands Pro Jacket

- Will this jacket retain the integrated collar to use the Leatt brace like the Adventure Rallye jacket model?
- The only Klim jacket that will retain the neckbrace feature is the Adventure Rallye Jacket. The Badlands Pro will not have a neck brace compatible collar system.

- I like the Badlands gear. I understand the venting available, but how well will the fabric vent in hot weather? Is there an upper comfort range?
- I'm afraid there is no answer to that question as it relies upon personal preference. Rather like its impossible to predict if a sleeping bag will be warm enough for any individual person. Whilst I am happy in a 2/3 season bag down to around -5 Centigrade I once lent a £700.00 Himalayan 5 season expedition down sleeping bag (rated to -30!) to my girlfriend to sleep in North Wales in May and she declared she had been 'a bit chilly' in the early morning!
What I can say is there there is no waterproof ProShell Goretex garment that has more vents (or in my opinion more effective vents) than the Badlands Pro suit.
In the jacket each arm has two seperate vents, there are two underarm vents over 30cm long and two more similar sized vents down the back of the garment. As long as you sweat and there is airflow your body can not fail to cool with this system.
The trousers are similarly designed with huge slash vents running down the thigh region (again around 30cm) and two more smaller exhaust vents to the rear of the leg.
I have used the suit up to 30 Degrees and as long as I am moving my core body temperature seems perfect using the light grey suit.
I should also mention that to keep your supply of fluids up to ensure you can sweat as freely as your body requires there is also a facility to add a 3l water bladder to the rear of the garment should that be required.
I'm sorry I can't give you a definitive answer but I hope that all the above helps. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No

- And about cold weather ??? with temperature close to O°C ??
- The jacket is designed to be used as part of a three layer system. You should wear a base layer (light weight in the summer, heavier weight in the winter), a warmth layer, and then the waterproof and protective Badlands Pro over the top.
The warmth layer can be whatever suits you for the temperatures you ride. You could wear nothing, a warm fleece, a synthetic down jacket or a heated vest. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
