Great to see the word spreading far and wide! The gentleman to the left of the photo on the cover of this months TBM is non other than magazine columinst Chris Evans. Chris’s alter ego as Cyril Despres’ manager and UK Dakar race rep means that when it comes to clothing choice he’s not short of options.

The wily eyed amongst you may notice a Klim logo on his helmet, well fear not as a new and improved version of the groundbreaking F4 helmet (the world’s most vented helmet!) will be available from July, with CE approval, less weight and stunning new graphics. Details to follow………
As the Spring approaches Klim have released a few new and updated products to the range.
The massively popular Dakar pants have been released in a new light Grey colour, perfect for desert exploration coupled with a matching Revolt Jersey
Wet weather encounters can be dealt with by the new updated Stow Away jacket, now with a handy packable hood to keep the rain off when you’re at camp.
Also updated are the Dakar gloves. Retaining their famous resistance to blistering they’re a good value glove that just keep coming back for more, wash after wash
Dakar gloves are in stock now, the rest should land within the week!

The long awaited DVD of the Adventure-Spec/Beast-of-Burden ‘Salt and Gold’ Expedition is nearly ready for release.
In December of 2008 Dave Lomax of Adventure-Spec and 5 other hardened desert junkies headed into the Empty Quarter of Mauretania to push the limits of motorcycle desert travel.
The DVD accurately documents the reality of a long off-road expedition across challenging and dangerous terrain.
Some of you may notice strange looking Klim garments worn by 3 of the riders. These are early prototypes of the ground-breaking Klim Adventure Rally suit, available from Adventure-Spec and official UK Klim dealers from Easter!
