Adventure-Spec will be attending the Horizons Unlimited Travellers Meeting at Lumb Farm, Ripley, Derbyshire from this Thursday 24th June – Sun 27th.

Dave’s presentation from 2008 is featured in its own section of the new Horizons Unlimited DVD  ‘Gear Up!‘ , a part of the ‘Achievable Dream‘ series (see trailer below).

Saturday 26th June at 9pm in the Main Room – ‘Salt and Gold’ Timbuktu and beyond the hard way, The tale of an attempt to reach the Salt Mines of Taoudenni following ancient camel routes across 3000km of virgin desert. Includes previously unseen film sequences of the recent ‘Salt and Gold film‘ filmed by Austin Vince.

Adventure-Spec launch Adventure/Rally Suit

After two years of long nights and a lot of travel Adventure-Spec, Klim and WL Gore and Associates are delighted to announce the official launch of their Rally/Adventure Suit.

As part of the launch/celebration Adventure-Spec will be closed for 1 week (between April 25th and May 1st)  as the team heads to Germany to show its new creation to the worlds motorcycle press.

Any orders placed between these dates will be shipped on May 3rd. We thank all our customers in advance for their patience at this time.

Adventure-Spec at MCN Excel London Bike Show 4-7 February 2010

Adventure-Spec will be at the MCN London Motorcycle Show from 4-7th February 2010.

Adventure-Spec to attend Horizons Unlimited UK Meeting

No sooner do we set up our shop than we have to take it places and sell things! We are delighted to anounce that Chris Colling and Dave Lomax will be with the shop for the four day duration of the Horizons Unlimited UK Meeting from the 3rd to the 6th of July. There will be around 500 adventure riders in attendance and as well as the guys manning the shop and giving advice (i.e. chatting about travelling!) Dave will be presenting a series of Talks and Slide shows about his travels and running a drop in advice session on ,’Travelling Light’. Hope to see you there!
