Salt and Gold 2010 – It could be you!
After the success of last years Salt and Gold Expedition to deepest darkest Mauretania and Mali (led by Dave Lomax of Adventure-Spec), Beast-Of-Burden Expeditions are running another one-off experience.
A new concept in expeditions, where small ‘pods’ of riders travel independent of support vehicles, the FreeRiders model offers a unique experience for the hardcore desert junkie. Ahead of the participants arrival B-O-B will bury fuel and food dumps in the desert sand, to be located using GPS waypoints. Effectively the pods are totally independent, choosing routes, cooking for themselves and picking their own pace. Rendesvous with expedition team will occur ever few days.
